Private employers boosted hiring in March

CNBC's Steve Liesman reports that the private sector added 209,000 jobs in March. Joel Parkken, chairman of Macroeconomic Advisers, weighs in on the numbers.

U.S. private employers added 209,000 jobs in March, suggesting the labor market is strengthening, a report by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.

Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 200,000 jobs. The report is jointly developed with Macroeconomic Advisers LLC.
