Ankidrive offers "real world video game" using iOS AI

Anki used the WWDC keynote stage to introduce its first product in development, a game called Ankidrive. It's not a video game, though - it's a real world game using remote controlled cars, a modernized version of a slot car game.

The cars speed along a track laid out on the floor and navigate using artificial intelligence running on an iOS device, controlled using Bluetooth low power connectivity. You can control the cars and even "shoot" at other cars on the tracks.

The game will hit stores this fall, but the app is available for download from the App Store today.
